THE GENERAL RESEARCH SITUATION OF VIRTUAL MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY

Abstract: Virtual Manufacturing Technology(VMT) is one of the Advanced Manufacturing Technologies and is a new manufacturing methodology based on information integration in an enterprise. In this paper, we analyzed VMT’s role and research areas . Lastly ,some examples of application of VM systems are presented.
